Our humble beginnings started with me James L Kendrick as a general contractor, doing small remodeling jobs, in 1977. Back then there wasn’t any Internet to make new contacts, it was all word of mouth so it took a lot longer to grow a business. But the word got out about the quality of my work, my honesty, professionalism and competitive prices. So as time progressed I started doing bigger jobs, and that lead to complete renovations of homes, offices and retail properties. I even built a few homes and small commercial buildings.                                                                                                                                                                    As time went on my sons Joseph and Joshua started working along side me at very early ages. Joe use to like to sit on the bucket while he was working, but a few times while he was putting plug covers on he got knocked off and woke up quick. Josh started coming with me so young that in the mornings he was on the job site and the afternoons he was in preschool. As soon as we got on the job he would ask is it lunch time I’m hungry. Since then they have both become very skilled tradesmen in all construction fields.                                                                                                                                                                 We have been rehabbing residential and commercial properties for investors and Realtors all along. But a few years ago we started to work on buying and rehabbing properties for ourselves. We have also started building a portfolio of single family rentals.  

In 2014 Joshua and I formed a partnership and started Kendrick Remodeling.
